I had simply asked them to come over for routine servicing of my Kent UV purifier. As soon as the so-called technician came in, the cross-selling started. He started recommending that I buy some other filter of theirs (Oasis brand), and also replacing existing filters within the machine instead of cleaning them. What is the point of buying a water purifier with 4 filters if we have to put in another one outside of it? I declined and asked him to clean the existing ones because they were all replaced just a few months ago.
After cleaning it, the technician created a new problem that was never there in the first place (auto-cut off not working) and said I need to replace the PCB. This has happened during his servicing. He did not own up to his mistake, and I also spoke to the manager who conveniently said that it is just a co-incidence that it happened at the time of servicing and they will not take responsibility.
I clearly indicated that I am not happy and will also post a negative review of the same, and the manager said it is fine that is my call. Looks like it makes no difference to them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent experience, my RO had issues with the water pump and despite calling the store at 8:30pm, the owner sent the mechanic to replace the faulty water pump. The mechanic were pro and answered my various questions, also quickly fixed the RO.
I might buy the RO filters from them.
Very good and customer friendly approach. Thanks Oasis.
