★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new canteen is good with authentic odia flavour. Staff are helpful. Veg thali costs Rs 116 which contains rice, dal, karela chips fry, one mix veg, papad and tomato khata. Rice n dal are unlimited. Chicken plate Rs 100, mutton curry Rs 250, fish curry Rs 100,panner masala Rs 70. Other dishes are there. Good seating arrangement is there. Rasgola Rs 25 each, Feni is available Rs 15 each n chhena poda Ts 550 per kg. Other sweet items are also there with odia flavour. Lunch time 12pm to 3pm.I went for lunch with family n enjoyed the food.yes crab curry is also available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is pathetic. Charging too much compared to the food verity. No sweet, no khir,even salad was absent. Thali should contains dishes that represents odisa. A lot is needed for Thali presentations. Thali and small bowl will give a good look than serving in trays which gives a dhaba look. I got completely embarrassed in front of my non Odia colleagues. A lot of improvement is needed. Even the special verity like Chingudi, Chicken I took was not tasty. It’s a suggestion. Please make everything better when you are using the name of my homeland. Jai Jagannath.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, and very friendly people. The best place in delhi, if you want to enjoy at a very good place with very cheap rooms while eating odiya cuisine. The kitchen here is so good , they make fish, chicken, mutton just like they make back home. There is a garden to walk, and it is fully safe inside bhawan.
The only issue here is that you have to prebook using a contact from an MLA, or MP, as it is only for politicians and bureaucrats. People coming far from odisha can stay at odisha niwas just a few metres away from the Bhawan.
