★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old Delhi Railway Station (station code: DLI), is the oldest railway station of Delhi city and a Junction station. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India in terms of frequency. Around 250 trains start, end, or pass through the station daily. It was established near Chandni Chowk in 1864 when trains from Howrah, Calcutta started operating up to Delhi. Its present building was constructed by the British Indian government in the style of the nearby red-colored fort and opened in 1903. It has been an important railway station of the country and preceded the New Delhi Railway Station by about 60 years. Chandni Chowk underground station of the Delhi Metro is near it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome station. Fooding and lodging facilities are at walking. Transportation is very easy as we have very easy access to Bus, Auto, Cab and rickshaws as well. The station is being renovated and new fronts are being made. Station is being kept clean and good care is being taken care of. One can easily walk to the platforms.
So a good and nice station.

Delhi Railway station is a big station with 16 platforms. Though it would be appropriate to have more escalators around. Normally all signages are working in the station. Though we do not have any good restuarants inside the railway station which is something which is missing
