Shawez's journey into the world of cricket began under the tutelage of Ramesh Chopra at National Stadium Delhi. The first major breakthrough came as a youngster when selected to play for Delhi U-14. Shawez continued to represent Delhi at U-14, U-17, U-19 & U-22 years with consistent performances. All the hard work and performances paid off as Shawez made his debut in the prestigious RANJI TROPHY representing Delhi.
He was selected as a part of Mumbai Indians Developmental Squad. The ever enterprising Shawez was intrigued by cricket's business potential and forayed into merchandising with BDM. Formed a very successful business partnership with SM Sports. Inception of 'ONLY SPORTS' with their very first Store opp. Defence Colony in Delhi. With the help of his brother Sameer, an ardent fan of cricket. The brand became synonymous with cricket in the Capital. The first branch became operational in Gurgaon. ONLY SPORTS expanded to City of Joy - Kolkata
