The next thing today after buying a new car in my case a gorgeous Honda city is to protect it - I browsed through several options and then finalised on Opti Coat. Had a long chat with their representative and then decided that they would be the perfect guys to take care of my car. I spoke to Manish Jain and Nitin. They guided me for the best option. I went in for the protection of my exterior painted surfaces. Opti Coat coating protects the paint against all chemical etchings- environmental impacts - makes maintenance and cleaning very easy and the best thing gives me a brand new glossy shining car every single day. Their coating is the only brand in offering lifetime warranty. See my pictures of Opti Coated car. Very happy. Would definitely recommend Opti Coat. Thank you Opticoat team.

I got my vehicle Opti coated in this place. They assured me they get it done by professional of detachment of all removable outside parts like vehicle name bumper etc. Fixing was not good. There professional didn't do good work. After taking the delivery I travelled to Bandipur next day. One of the alphabet was missing. When asked they said it would dropped when you have travelled. Now past a week I waiting that they may fix my problem. But not yet done. Hi Opti coat You have rectified your installation and got the problem resolved by fixing the alphabet. ? GOOD

Took my car for some pre-diwali TLC. After weeks of research, finally got it done at Opticoat. For quite some time I'd been skeptical about the benefits of Ceramic coatings, especially given the costs. I'd spoken to couple of other popular ceramic coating providers, but most out there seemed to be snake-oil salesmen, making lofty promises. Finally, after speaking to Nitin from Opticoat, who showed results from previous applications and took me through the entire process in detail - it's a 21 step labour-intensive process taking 2 to 3 days - I decided to go ahead as they seemed like the most professional of the lot out there. No false promises, clean dust-free showroom for paint surface preparation. And, unlike others, didn't oversell the benefits of the coating. Both Nitin and Arjun are very matter-of-fact and knowledgeable about their products, unlike other Ceramic coater I'd spoken to. They had two options: Opticoat Pro and Opticoat Pro+. I picked the Pro+, since the price difference wasn't much + it offered superior gloss, water-beading and a much smoother touch-feel. And, after about a month of application, can see a vast difference in scratch resistance (i.e. after following better car washing techniques, as suggested by Nitin, and using Opticoat car cleaning products that are just far superior to any I've used in the past). There's also the brilliant shine / gloss, which is just very pleasing to the eye :) Check out the before and after pics below and judge for yourself! Also sharing some insights for the benefit of anyone else who might be considering a ceramic coating as I noticed there's a lot of misinformation on the topic. Hopefully helps you make a more informed decision. Reasons I got the treatment : 1. Excessive swirl marks, which were more visible on my darker car paint 2. Excessive highway driving, which made cleaning / maintenance time-consuming (bug splatters, mud, slush, brake carbon deposits on alloys) 3. UV protection, as car would invariably end up being outdoors after inter-city journeys Get the treatment if you: 1. Want to protect the existing paint + clearcoat from UV radiation, bird droppings, water marks, excessive swirl mark formation 2. Want the car paint to have a shiny, glossy finish (improves upon the existing clearcoat, results differ slightly based on the product) 3. Want to reduce maintenance headache - car is easier to clean, especially if one is doing excessive highway driving like I do Don't get the treatment if you: 1. Expect complete scratch protection - swirl marks will form, and more so if you use wrong cleaning techniques i.e. improper car shampoo, cloth, cleaning pressure, excessive contact with the car. Go with PPF films, the self-healing type, for complete paint protection - they are expensive, the good ones are 3-4X that of a ceramic coating. Opticoat too has started offering them in India, one can check with them on pricing etc.

Looks like, this business is run by Rich brothers. Never Experienced such high headedness anywhere in life. Spent 2.85 L for my GLS and their attitude was so miserable. Repent going to this place. Dealt with Nitin. Initially had gone for 3 years warranty product and then upgraded it to 10 Year Warranty product (Opti Coat). This created a chaos in discount structure and had to struggle to convince them and finally had to fight with Nitin and Manish Jain to get the discount structure set right. Looks like none of them have matured enough to handle such business and their attitude towards customers is totally unacceptable. Left the vehicle for 3.5 Days and was not ready and he didn’t have courtesy to offer a drop. Had to really struggle to get back home in the night and in fact he was even reluctant to get the vehicle dropped off to my place next day Early morning, I had to force them to get the vehicle dropped (9th Nov Morning). Payment, Their POS machine never works, and Nitin was arrogantly arguing that there was a problem with my CC. Finally, he tried his CC and to his utter dismay that also didn’t work. Had to struggle for one hour to make payment. Today, 12th Nov 2021, driving the vehicle in rain and the wiper is not working properly. I have got the wind shield coated with ceramic and I am sure there is something wrong with this. Called up Nitin and his reaction was defensive, and he feels that the windshield surface has become rough and hence is creating problem. After spending 2.85L, It is frustrating to see such cold response and defensive attitude. I am appalled by his attitude towards customers. This is not done and not acceptable. It looks like rich guys are running this business without any regards to customers. If they come out with rubbish justification / Clarification to this feedback I will surely take it to the next level. If Opti Coat thinks that they are the only ones who have got good product and can take customers for a ride, they are wrong. In Bangalore, there are many other brands who are equally good or better than Opti Coat. Please explore other places before going to this place. Honestly repent going to this place. If possible, please avoid this place.

I am one of the oldest customers of Opticoat. I got the first Opticoat ceramic coating done sometime in Dec 2015. I also got a second coating done sometime in Jun-Jul 2019. Within just 2.5 years of second coating, I noticed most of the original panels in my car (White Cruze, 2014 make) had faded to a slightly yellowish / ivory shade. I took the car to the Opticoat Dealers near Infantry road, Bangalore to show them this issue. But I was disappointed with the outcome. Details are below. 1. Nitin first started claiming that the ivory'ish' colour was in fact the true car colour. I told him that my car colour was white and not ivory-ish. 2. After much discussion, we agreed to remove the coating in a test area (by rubbing & polishing) and see what the real colour shows up beneath. But, the car panel colour, after removing the coating, also showed up as a slightly yellow shade. I then pointed this to Nitin and also asked him how he can prove that the coating has not affected or reacted with the original paint / base coat. He had no answer. He instead tried to convince me that I was comparing the original colour with a re-painted panel and therefore, I felt it was faded. Now, I understand that a shade difference will be there between two white panels painted at different times. But, I also know my original car colour. It was definitely not this dull ivory shade. But how do I prove this to him? I cant, unless I carry a piece of the original painted panel itself in my pocket and compare it with the current panel. Nitin took full advantage of this practical difficulty and fended off warranty responsibilities by attributing the complaint to other reasons as outlined above. Note - I have been maintaining the car very well by using Opticoat recommended products, cleaning techniques and soft water for cleaning. SUMMARY Dont go for ceramic. Don't go for Opti-Coat. If you still do, be aware of all these limitations. 1. It is very difficult to claim warranty for ceramic coating as their inspection methods are superficial, visual based, and therefore very subjective and very biased (towards their products, They will always try to doubt you first and not their product. And, they will challenge and push you to a corner. You cant do anything as their decision is not in your control. You will be forced to accept all the blame. They wont do anything from their side to rectify the fault. 2. They may not be incentivized to honour warranty as they will incur the cost of repair in terms of products or services or both. The product cost is very high. Besides, they will always find reasons to blame you by saying you must have only done something, not maintained the car well, etc. 3. Its very difficult to make out how the product is performing year after year. You may not even know if it has worn off on a particular patch as no one does inch by inch inspection on all the panels. Don't expect the ceramic coating to last more than 3 years. 3. I am especially disappointed with Opticoat as I thought if I pay more, I will not be subject to these warranty challenges but I was wrong. 4. Please read Opticoat reviews in Amazon (US site). You will find many users complaining of the same fading and discoloration issue. 4. At some point, Nitin mentioned that car age and exposure to elements would have played a factor. I then told him that I spent 1 lakh+ all these years just so that ceramic can prevent these exact issues and if it has not done that, then what did it do all these years? He had no answer.

In my endeavour for selecting the best set of ceramic coating professionals, I ended up with opticoat Bangalore. The ceramic coating is about 1. The Product Without any doubt, Opticoat has one of the best product in the world market. I choose the Silicon Carbide one i.e. opticoat pro as it fuses with the clear coat on the paint surface and makes it more durable and long lasting. (Market uses SIO2 in general and apply multiple coats, opticoat aapplies just one) 2. . The Application The application becomes critically important for application of ceramic coating. Doesn't matter how good the product is, if the application is not correct, the product will not last. This is where I decided that instead of taking any risk with the local detailers, I will go with opticoat. I had visited and seen their work and it looks almost flawless. Besides, the services is amazing as well. They are a bunch of professionals and will keep you informed about the development, the cost (nothing hidden) and are punctual. I would definitely recommend this to others who are looking for a hassle free experience. Cost wise : I paid 60k (inclusive of everything) for Harrier (external paint and trims) and was really happy during the delivery.

It is for those who really care about their car or bike. I got PPF done for my new Royal Enfield Meteor Fireball Red. Nitin and Shyamili gave me all the details and suggested which PPF to go with that best suits my requirement. It is bit pricy but the quality of material and craftsmanship is excellent. In my case, there was a minor damage caused to back mudguard while fitting back number plate assembly but they were very honest in accepting the mistake and ensured that the part was replaced with new one with in a week. Very professional behaviour. Appreciate your efforts Nitin in sourcing the new part quickly. Over all I am happy with the service and yes will have to wait for few months to see how well the PPF stay. I am confident that it will last for long.

I am a repeat customer of this outlet. I got my polo coated with them 5 years back when their establishment was a lot smaller (Originally on Infantry road) and the proprietor himself had parked/taken out my car from his small workspace. I recently got my wife's Baleno coated over there and received the same level of attention to detail as the previous time around. The Opti coat product is expensive but well worth the investment. The folks who work on your car are experienced and knowledgeable about what they are doing. The service is slightly expensive, but you get a world class product and dedicated service in exchange. Highly recommended for folks who love their cars.
