★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only fine for short term stay for unmarried couples, don't choose for long term.
In my case the room, bathroom, sink and even bedsheets were dirty. Also the shower wasn't working properly, I had to ask several times to make it repaired... Also don't have breakfast here, instead go to monginis which is just beside the hotel, I'll suggest.
Also keep in mind that the location is kind of odd, airport is near but to go inside city you've to bear a lot of charge on Ola or Uber.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is poor. Cleanliness is zero. Bathroom and dining area are the most dirtiest places. Dinner was okay. airconditioner didn't work. In total the stay in oyo Royal retreat was a nightmare. This is situated in a remote area, in the outskirts pf the city with no diners, mall, restaurants or pharmacies around. I would give a negative rating or a zero star rating to this hotel. Would appreciate if u pay my money back. I booked this hotel for two days, but checked out within 12 hours and booked Holiday Inn near kolkata airport. Thanks OYO for screwing up my stay in Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pictures can be deceptive. The rooms are small and unlike anything shown in the pictures. Located on the highway which means that you will hear the vehicles throughout the day and night. However the room I stayed in had good sound proofing windows which were not openable. Rooms and bath werent very clean. The corridor, reception and even the dining area were more dirty. Staff attitude is very poor and have a standard NOT AVALABLE answer that you ask for. Breakfast is bread toast only and you have to either beg or demand for anything more. Impossible to get a cab (ola/uber/yellow taxi). They don’t have any food but they won’t allow you to order from outside. Stairs are very dirty. Very poor hotel.
