Papaya BKC , is a real good pick if you are into Asian cuisine. The place is well lit and fine dining for all pan asian cuisine, they serve a Tapas menu so if you eat more like ? please read about the quality guidelines on the menu.
I ordered the Litchee surprise drink to what I remember the name but was an amazing blend of lemon and litchee very refreshing.
Again sorry guys but I haven't yet developed a taste for sushi ? but yet I ordered as per my other peeps they love it and said it was one of its kind ( but nahh its not my kinda dish I could be bias here cause of my taste buds )
The burnt garlic rice, noodles and dimsums were yum yum yum even the chili garlic gravy in chicken and exotic veges was a worth try , the servers are really helpful and sweet , we had Rishab serving us and he was sweet very sweet to teach me how to use chopsticks and guided me the correct dishes.
At last never miss out on their chocolate ball of fire which is a dessert most recommended, once the ball melts or is lit on fire u can find your yummy brownie with the ice cream below it

β β β β β PA PA YA currently has a large DIMSUM menu in town consisting of 68 varieties during their Dimsum Festival.
The choices include starch dumplings, open faced dumplings, steamed dumplings, pan seared dumplings, rice coated dumplings, lotus leaf wrapped dumplings, poached dumplings, fermented baos, opened face baos and more.
All of these are available with different variants such as assorted veggies, chicken, prawns and chives, lamb, grilled fish and more based on your choice.
Here's a detailed description of what all we had:
Truffled Cream Cheese (Recommended)
The combination of potato and starch dumpling consisting of truffled cream cheese which just melts into your mouth. Totally yummy.
Prawns and Chives Wonton
Steamed and served with chilli and black vinegar, prawns and chives!
Grilled Fish Wonton
Again steamed and wrapped will grilled fish inside, quite a treat.
Prawns And Chives Lotus
A unique type of dumplings which had a lotus leaf wrapped around glutinous rice and prawns. Absolutely scrumptious.
Chicken and Pickled Garlic Open Bao
Tasty fried chicken along with other condiments in a white, warm, soft bun. The result is a delicious Asian Carb Experience, i.e. the Bao.
Korean Chicken Fermented Bao
Another form of bao but a closed one consisting of Korean Chicken.
Poached Assorted Veggies
Assorted veggies put together in flavoured stock of dumplings and tastes splendid.
Glutinous Rice (Braised Lamb)
Braised Lamb pieces inside steamed glutinous rice coated dumplings. Again really nice
If you love dumplings, you can surely not miss out on the feast and give a try to some of the choicest dumplings you will ever come across.

β β β β β Papaya has always been my favourite when it comes to pan asian restaurants. They have the best sushis to offer. Every dish on their menu tastes so good from soups to dimsums. Little heavy on the pocket as this a fine dining place but good option for occasional visits. Restaurant is located next to Jio Worlddrive mall at BKC. Mostly full all the time, so you might also have to wait to get a table.

β β β β β Besides being the city of dreams, Mumbai provides the foodie in me a wide array of restaurants to go on a rampage on. @papaya_asian is one of the top Asian restaurants in town, so why not give it a go as one of the first culinary experience in the city, right?
And let me tell you it didn't disappoint - fine dining experience with a prompt service at it's best. We started the day with these 2 beautifully curated cocktails My thai and Dil-licious (gin and rum based drinks). And in food their california maki roll sushi and the curry leaf peppered calamari were just the stars of the day. And how can you not order dimsums and baos when you are at an asian restaurant. And all 3 of our choices - hauled chicken gogigui paozu, chicken gyoza and shao mai chicken and chestnuts were simply lip smacking. What a way to start the food adventures in Mumbai!! A place I'll highly recommend for some good asian food for sure..
I can't wait to try their Bo-tai restaurant in Goa now. For all those who wants to experience something by the same owners.

β β β β β After hearing a lot about Pa Pa Ya, my wife and I decided to try it for our anniversary dinner. The cocktails were amazing and perfectly mixed. The sushi, laksa and pork belly were delicious. Most of all we would like to share that it was because of their amazing staff (Prahlad in particular), who took the time to talk to us and understand our tastes and then recommend dishes to order, that lead us to have an overall amazing experience at Pa Pa Ya. Would definitely be coming here again and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone reading this review.

β β β β β Amazing food! Portion size might seem less but taste was exquisite. We ordered the Chicken Gyoza dimsums, Cantonese soup and Hor Fun noodles with shrimp and squid. Service was great especially by Mahipal. He was very polite. Ambience is also great. Overall fantastic experience.

β β β β β This was amazing! Had heard a lot of great things about this place, finally landed here, and it exceeded all expectations. Great recommendations (veg) from our server Ramesh. Especially loved the Veg crunchy sushi. Ended with an amazing chocolate and ice cream combo dessert. Will come again and order at home too!

β β β β β Yes, indeed a best Asian restaurant, amazing cocktails and food, all ways upto the mark, excellent quality sushi. Usually crowded. Service was bit slow when I visited but overall always good experience with Pa Pa Ya. Reservations recommended. Service and staff behaviour can be improved.
