★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place but the food is ridiculously expensive. The portion size is super small and we cannot believe how much we paid for still being hungry by the end of it. The interiors is very well thought of and I loved the vibe or else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, charming interior decoration (upstairs) and great lunchtime ambiance. The contemporary Indian cuisine is simply divine. We enjoyed sharing: the innovative avocado bhel puri salad, stuffed mirchi, and superbly spicy but light paneer starters. The Dhal Mahkni was exceptional though the Pine Nut and Wild Rice Pilau was slightly oily. The undoubted star of the show was the pan leaf kulfi, which was fun and truly made me laugh. What a perfect way to end such an enjoyable lunch. Excellent value for fine dining. Well done Pali Bhawan, will definitely visit again when next in Mumbai.
