Excellent place. Serene environment where one can hang out for perfect mental peace amidst nature and silence. Around 4.5hrs from Kolkata. Boating on river Ichamati is the best.. Enjoyed it.

It was gd for a short 3-4 hrs tour.. Kind of a mini outing, if u a nature lover the ambience of forest at the bank of icchamati is the place for u to relax nd walk in peace for 2-3 hours.. More than 300 deers are there, u can take a boat ride at icchamati if u like, the entry fees are lill higher than usual. Rs- 120/- for a short few hours trip u can give it a shot..?

Calm and cool place to visit for a one day tour or picnic. Here you can see Spotted Deer and few other small creatures. Entry fees is now 120 rupees. One can enjoy boat riding in Icchamoti river which is running beside the forest.

Perfect place for outing especially for picnic. Small forest, ichamati river flows through it. You can also enjoy the boat ride on the river and a 'nilkithi' is situated other side on the river. Deer is the main attraction in the forest. But the entry fee is too high 120 Indian rupees for a single person.

I always like nature in it's raw form. And I experienced the same here perfectly! It was raining when me and my friends visited the place. We walked around the sanctuary border. It was a very long walk almost 4 k.m but it was worth. Covered with utmost greenary and without any artificial touch! It's a 75-80 k.m driving from Kolkata. Follow Google map. Thursday is closed.

Not properly maintained. It could have been a nice place but isn't one. Waste of the entry fee. All the 350 deers come out at 2.30 pm when they feed them. But all other times you simply cannot see any of them.
