It's much better, efficient and fast than other offices in Punjab. It's much better, efficient and fast than other offices in Punjab. My passport application was proceed made merely in an hour. Passport office should be very good and service also good.
The 5 stars are for the hard working staff but there are so many things which are not clear for a person visiting for the first time. Even if you have read all instructions beforehand.

The security guard at the gate allows entry only when the appointment time is reached. That’s good in a way to avoid crowd inside.
No baggage allowed inside! I had a small shoulder bag which was allowed.
Photo copy system also available inside the office. No need to find the photostat shop for photocopy.
Inside used to go on 1st floor. Upstairs all work done in fast way...& free within an hour.
Their are three types of passport covers with different colors available.
1st 400, 2nd 500, 3rd 600
The best team I have seen 1st time in Punjab which is so efficient, showing humanity, care, dignity, respect.
I went for a passport reissue case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited passport seva kendra for my mother's passport. The place was highly crowded, they allowed me to enter with my mother being senior citizen. Our time was 3.15 pm and we were done by 4.20 pm. Overall experience at counter A, B & C was satisfactory. During my visit there were only 2 counters operational at B section out of total 8 counters and at C section also only 2 counters were operational out of total 5. Giving 2 stars less because of crowded area at entrance and reception. At groud floor it was like some fish market, people were breaking queues and no one was following covid guidelines.

They just get up and sit from there place . Have tea and then move again. Then suddenly they have a meeting and go away again. The crowd gets frustrated towards the C counter. Pathetic
