β β β β β Patna university which was known for its remarkable heritage nd reputation of 2nd oxford in India. Though lack that images for few decades but one thing I can assure you,it is still the best university in bihar. This university has regular mandatory classes which gives you exposure in different courses you persue. Secondly it takes exam on time nd keep you updated with syllabus.
So if you're living in bihar nd Wanna take admission in Ug or Pg course then PU is certainly better place for you.

First university of bihar and seventh university of india. Offered UG, PG degree level course.Established by an Act of the Imperial Legislative Council passed on September 1917.Later in 1919, the governing bodies of the university the Senate and the Syndicate were formed. The iconic Wheeler Senate House of the Patna University was built in 1926 for which Raja Devaki Nandan Prasad of Munger donated the money.On 2 January 1952, it was converted into a purely teaching-cum-residential university with territorial jurisdiction over only metropolitanΒ Patna. The university buildings are mostly located on the bank of the River Ganges and in the Saidpur Campus.

On January 2, 1952 it was converted into a purely teaching -cum-residential University with the territorial jurisdiction over Metropolitan Patna. It is one of the oldest Universities in the Country. In Bihar it is the first, and in the subcontinent, it is the seventh oldest University. The University buildings are located on the bank of River Ganges and in the second Campus i.e. Saidpur Campus.

To be eligible for the course the applicant must have passed matriculation with at least 70% marks and Intermediate with 60% marks. Also, he must have to qualify for the entrance test organized by the college. The college adopts students from the merit list prepared based on the marks in previous classes. The application is found on its website created especially for the students. There is a nominal form fee of Rs 300. The form application process starts April- May month period as per the convenience. Interested students from all over Bihar join the process and get the right course. The college provides courses in Science, Arts and Commerce subjects. There is a critical improvement needed here. The college must be aware of internal corruption. A class of students offers some extra money to take admission in their preferred stream.
