★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for everyone to enjoy a nature friendly weekends. But they charge 300 for camera which is tooooo much. Most of the animals would be either sleeping or won't be visible which means nothing to capture. Considering that camera fee should be reduced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Zoo has different types of animals in vast area.
But it would be better to increase the no. of particular species like no. of tigers, lion . Then it would be more attractive to tourist visiting there.
There are four main roles of zoos today. They are: conservation, research, education and recreation. breeding animals in captivity so they don't become extinct.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All time best attraction of Patna since its inception, probably 50 yrs ago. Best place to bring children. It had a toy train service some time ago which now seems replaced by battery operated golf cars.
Some parts of the zoo are now under renovation which will be completed within a week as informed by guards there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sanjay Gandhi Botanical and Zoological Garden is located on bailey road, Patna. The park is Patna's most frequented picnic spot and has 70 Animals, 35 species of fish and 5 species of snakes. It's a good place to visit with your friends and family. The only problem which is still there is that it doesn't have nearby stalls apart from the centre one which is located near the lake and they don't sell mineral or packaged water only water cooler is available. Rest everything is up to the standards of the zoological park and lastly, it has a boating lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A weekend getaway place in Patna. Good place for kids as they enjoy. Their are ample of space. But only thing is animals are not well feeded. It feels like they are not getting proper food and service. Tiger and lion were looking very weak and thin. The authority should take care of it more properly. Infrastructure has improved a lot compared to my last visit was long years back
