Main Fish Market of the town. Huge collection of numerous types of fish is available. Great place for fish lovers.
But, the place is not very clean. Proper system of drainage is essential, especially the surrounding area of the main fish market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost all types of fishes are available here. It is the biggest fish market in the town. Rui, Katla, Hilsa, Pomfret, Basha, Baan, Koi, Tangra you name it. Price here is generally on an upper scale than the other market owing to its location, availability and also mostly for being infested by the elite section of the inhabitants of the town. It opens generally at 9.00 a.m in the morning and the sale continues upto almost 12 noon. There are big sellers owing concrete structures in the market as well as the small scale sellers with pricey local fishes on the floor of the market.
Mostly the small local fishes and fishes like Hilsa and Koi and Chital are mostly in demand. Pretty uncommon fishes also throng the market.
I must say, if you come to the market with a particular fish in your mind and if don't get it anywhere else, this market will hardly disappoint you.
