โ โ โ โ โ The experience in this hospital was so bad. I take my father to the hospital in an emergency case he didn't get the bed for the treatment we have to put him on the stretcher for the whole night. We have been waited for 18 hours but we didn't get the bed. Infact as an attendant we didn't get a chair to sit. We spend our whole night by sitting on the floor. The behaviour of Hospital staffs, guards and doctors was not acceptable. They behaved very badly and the tone of their voice is so rude. This needs to be changed! Such behaviour will not be entertained! It's a request to the Bihar government please look up on such situations, As an government hospital the facilities they provide is so worst to explain.

โ โ โ โ โ Doctors well educated and skilled but lack of resources. Just feel like is a massive waste of tax payers money. Unorganised, no health and safety measures and Unhygienic place . Any one can judge the health system of Bihar by visiting this palce. People really need to be more demanding to get this sorted out. Just wondering these type of government hospital without any proper resources and facilities.

April ,1981,under the nomenclature of Patna General Hospital. On that day, the bed capacity was 240 and annual expenditure was Rs.51,872.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice place for the treatment. It one of the great government hospital in Patna. You would get the best possible treatment and doctors. Even the rule and regulations are nicely maintained. Somehow cleanness is maintained.

โ โ โ โ โ New Emergency Ward of PMCH is good and more number of Doctors or PG students were available there. Response of doctors was good, Patient got admitted immediately. The medicine prescribed by the doctor, most of them were not available in the PMCH Medicine Store, bought it from outside medical store but they were not much costlier. Due to overcrowding in Emergency Ward they shift patient from here to General Wards if patient start feeling good (i.e in normal condition) for further medication.
They shifted us to General Ward (i.e Hathua Ward) late night at 2 AM in a van.
On the contrary to Emergency Ward the General Wards (Specially Hathua Ward) of PMCH were in pathetic condition. Patients were lying on the floor because beds were not available. And dogs and cats were also roaming here in the ward for food (I am attaching photos you can see there). Here staff and nurses are so so rude.
Once we shifted to Hathua Ward.I start searching for nurses ,it was difficult to find them but found them somehow as they all were sleeping in a room . I requested a nurse in the Hathua Ward to please connect the saline of my patient (as saline was stopped before shifting) . But she didn't do that and continuously saying with rude voice " Abhi jaiye abhi nhi hoga,Bole na Apko abhi jaiye subah chadhega ab pani" !!
General Wards are needed serious attention and improvement like renovation, hygiene, cleanliness and ensure Doctor and Nurse service availability in night also.
I have attached photo of General Ward (Old building) as well as Emergency Ward (i.e Newly built) .
