★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a account holder of PNB since last more than 30 years . Interacted with Chinchpokli branch , Byculla branch , City light {Matunga ) branch for several years . Had a very very good experience in every branch and I am a very happy customer of PNB
That's why felt the need to write about the PNB bank branch at BKC where I often visit as it is close to my home .
Very very uncooperative staff . There seems to be no staff or maybe they are not in their places ... Today We had to just deposit Rs 5000 /- The cashier arrogantly says " I'm counting cash . I'll take another one to one and half hour " , On asking whether no one else can accept he said no . After waiting for a long time he must have realized and then accepted the cash . One lady sitting next was eating her breakfast from her tiffin whilst on duty . Maybe she is the Manager . But didn't have the courtesy to bother whats happening around .
We have always experienced too much of resistance from staff to work . There is no one to give payslips . No one is on their workplace chairs . Is there no staff or shortage of staff ? ,Then why is this bank opened in such elite area where customers are not attended professionally ?
Every time you go their "Network " seems to be slow . In an era of advanced technologies this bank's staff will always complain of slow network and ask you to come the next day . Absolutely disgusting experience .
On the day the lights went off all over Mumbai I had just reached this branch to deposit cash . The cashier refused saying System is not working . I accepted and went after the lights were restored . Even then he said their system was not working ! I went the next day again he refused ! I said " when there wasn't a computer , were you not accepting cash for deposit in savings account ? " After that my cash was accepted .
This branch should be closed down as staff is working at their whims and fancies . Maybe they deliberately do not want to work . Absolutely Disgusting management .
Request Vigilance dept of PNB to look into this matter .
