"15 February 1932: Indiscrimnate Police firing.
15 February 1932 Almost 100 freedom fighters had gathered at the Tarapur police station for hositing the flag. A British superintendent of police was hit by a gunshot fired by one of the protesters. This provoked the police to open indiscriminate fire that killed 34 people and injured over two dozen. some dead bodies were floting in river ganga at sultanganj.Dhobai village was center for the meeting of revolutionaries."

Yuva trust is working for last 6 years to the recognition of this heritage building #TarapurThana as National Heritage in the memory of those 34 martyrs of 15 feb 1932 .
In 15 feb 2018 5 thousand youth of all over bihar came together under the leadership of YUVA trust's president Sri Jayram Viplav and did a bike railly from Heritage police station Tarapur to Town Hall Munger .
Still we are demanding our govt to give this heritage as Status of National heritage .
Recently after byke railly bihar govt. did repairing work of the 100 plus old building .
