Pool Cafe, - Kolkata

This is one of the hidden gem in Saltlake area. It is located at Kathgola Island. They had brought a new concept in our city by bringing food and games together. Customers can play games like pool, PlayStation 4, Chess, Dart, Futsol etc. They had a variety of brunch which are really lips smacking and besides that it is a very good place to hangout with your friends. I would have given 5 stars if there service was not slow.

Pool cafe Kolkata has brought a new dimension to the dining experience. You get to play a lot of games along with a good variety of food. Located in sector 2 salt lake this cafe attracts crowd mainly because of its homely ambience. Get your gang together for a pool match , or for a foosball challenge while you bite into some amazing food . Not only boards games, you can try your hands on video games or on the guitar. This place simply wont let you feel bored. Be it dart game or chess game most of the games are free of cost except for a few where you need to pay an extra amout . The staffs are very friendly and you even get to learn about the games from them if you don't . They also provide different flavours of hookah and have cute looking balconies which you can use as a smoking zone . Now let's talk about the food that we had. For the starters we had 1. Chicken Deep Fry - Crispy chicken cutlets served with a sauce. These are Boneless chicken breasts coated in a batter and deep fried untill turned golden brown. Portion size was very good . 2. Crispy Chilli Babycorn- An all time favourite where baby corns are deep fried untill it turns crispy. Spice level was very moderate. 3. Egg Mayo Burger - A simple burger which has poached egg as its patty along with cheese slice , tomatoes and mayonnaise served with potato chips . Since it doesn't have anything meaty at the centre , may be some flavoured mayo could have made it a little better , it felt something missing . Moving forward to the mains , we tried 1. Mix Sauce Pasta - penne pasta tossed in mixed sauce with veggies and very mild spices. It was very tasty . 2. Akhiri Pasta - A white sauce pasta made with lots of cheese , corn kernels , baby corn . Both of them were amazing with great portion size. 3. Fried rice - Non veg fried rice with chicken chunks, finely cut veggis , peanuts . The taste was something new due to the presence of peanuts . 2. Chilly noodles : Bell peppers dominated the taste of noodles . We paired both the dishes with 3. Chilly chicken: 12 pieces of boneless chicken , served in a rich spicy gravy. The chilly chicken was little overcooked although it had the flavours. From the drinks section we tried one virgin mojito and one kitkat shake. The mojito was surprisingly very tasty and refreshing and we had to repeat it twice . The KitKat shake wasn't bad either it was chocolaty buy felt very diluted. Nevertheless the place has an amazing charm that will bring you back .

Recently been to this cafe , situated at saltlake sector 2. They have pool , foosball , chess and so on for the game lovers. This cafe has two segments , fine dine in and lounge. Also they are having a great offer , that if you order upto 349 then you will get a shisha at rupees one. So triedsome of their dishes - ?Pool Cafe Special Mocktail ? New Place Alert! . . This place located in Salt Lake, Sector 2, bear Kathgola island has recently opened! You find real quirky interiors here! The seating space is really large. They've games too - Pool, Darts (All these are paid). There are standard games too like Chess, Cards, for which we don't have to pay ? . . Coming to the food, The presentation was great and the quality and quantity of the food was excellent. I found the service quite slow! (The only con I found in this cafe). The staff was friendly and cooperative ? . . Pocket Pinch - INR 300 (For two). . . . Must try dishes - Honey Chilli Potato, Pool cafe special coffee and Beach strawberry ? . . . Do visit once so that you need to visit this place every weekend ❤

The quantity is enough to be shared by two and for some items even three! Separate space for hookah available. Regular concerts and shows are held so as to keep you entertained while you have your favourite brunch. A perfect place for hanging out with friends nd playing different types of games. The ambience is damn good. The cafe is too spacious They even have different membership scheme if u are regular. The food is moderate I loved there Honey chilli potatoes. There tandoori bharwa aloo was amazing there serving style was damn good. Mexican noodle were moderate Holocaust pasta was too sweet. Pizza was good in taste but presentation was not good . And there special breavages were amazing.

Located at sector 2,this is a great place to hangout with friends and family. The pool cafe has a big pool table,a chess board,a dart board,a foosball table,a hookah lounge and a smoking zone along with the original seating area. But the food was a little on the average side. The ambience is wonderful and I loved it. It is a great place for hanging out and I can't wait to visit it again with my friends.

Ambience : What is really liked about this cafe is it's a pretty cozy cafe with pool table,chess,fuss ball,video games,dart to play. Apart from this,it has a hookah lounge for people who want to smoke hookah,a balcony which gives a nice view and is also a smoking zone. Apart from that,decent sitting and good decor. Service : The waiters were very friendly and polite to interact with,if they couldn't serve an item they informed us initially and also gave us an alternative. Food : It was worth the wait. We had ordered : 1. Virgin Mojito - It was great and wasn't too sour or too sweet. 2. Classic Coffee - this was a really good coffee. You definitely won't regret ordering this. 3. Ginger tea : it was okay since the flavour of ginger wasn't felt much. 4. Mac and Cheese Non Veg Pasta : it was good for anyone who loves white sauce pasta and the quantity is enough to share with two people. 5. Veg Pakora : The taste was good though but since it was oily couldn't consume so much. Pretty good snack for evenings. 6. We had also taken Hookah that cost around ₹249 with base that had separate charge. Overall,it's a nice place for hanging out. ✨
