Post Master General - Gurugram

Worst service possible. People working at Post Offices in Gurgaon are inefficient and incapable of handling customer services. Have dealt with many post offices in Gurgaon and have faced many problems. Totally incompetent staff. Telephones are either off the hook or not working. Post Master General's phone is also not working for the longest time. Mails and Speed Post's do not reach to the destination. They are either lost or not delivered. I wish the postal services were handled more professionally in the Millennium City.

Worst Ever survive.. the staff dosnt know how to deal with customer.. they were so rude n weirded. The way they talk are so pethatic.. Itz unbelievable that instead of delivering my thing 8 my address they send back to my home town. Atlist they sound wait for me to pick up my thing.. with no information they can't treat with any customer in such a way. They should deliver the thing on the given address. They dint came 2 my given address n was touchering me to came n pick my thing from different address nt even post office.. stil then I said to wait for 10 minute but Jesus Christ he was so rude n said he can't wait for 10 minutes and he went back.. .. Not a problem he went back but I could have received my thing from post office but on the next day when I reach post office.. the way they answer was so horrible n said my thing have being return to the sender address... Is this the way they so do..? If you are not here to surve the customer then why the hell are you guys working out there. Such a pathetic post office.. I suggest you guys to closed that post office of phase 5 Gurgaon should get closed if u can't give service well.. Government worker's are such a terrible worker. Spoiling the name of every government workers. We should rise complaint against them.

True example of Worst Government Offices in India. Lady sitting at Counter-03 is very rude. i was waiting for her from last 25 minutes because i reached Post office in lunch Time , once she came to seat and refused to Process my Speed Post because she had already done a lot of work for the day. and asked me to go next queue which was already very long with 15-20 people. She did not accept my speed post at all after a lot of requests. At last i had to enter next queue and finally my turn came and man sitting on this Counter-02 refused to give change balance as he is not having change coins and asked me to wait till the time coins will come from any other customer.

I went today first time to this post office for savings around 10:30.But strange no one was sitting in counter. One staff person said that madam will come after lunch. And when i came again after lunch to the same counter she said for savings our timings are upto 2 pm. I requested her that i am the only person for savings here and there was no crowd at all. But still she refused my request. I don't know why no action has been taken to this post office, people shared their negative experience . They set their own timings by their own convenient.

HI I went for the first time with 3 cartoons of home stuff to be parceled to my home. I never did use this service so I just packed those boxes and took them straight to post office. I did reach 5 mins before the closing time. ' Few things to note while taking any package for parcel service: The box should be packed well. A paper with "to" and "From" address written in big and BOLD letters( so it is legible) should either be pasted like you paste a poster on a wall (completely glued) or by using a clear tape so that its covering the whole address sheet. The cartoon is tossed so many times that if the label is not properly pasted then it may come off and your consignment is lost. If the package is above 20Kgs, you will have to use speed post service and you cannot use parcel service which is way cheaper. There is specific box size also which also determines if it can be transported through parcel or speed post. Always carry extra cash Always consider giving extra time and don't arrive at the last minute. My review: I didn't follow any of the above, so the lady sitting in the counter when I did reach at 12.55 pm (1 pm is closing for Saturday) she was like where is the address label, size of one box is too long and stuff, 1 pm is closing time. Then there was one of his colleague ( I think he was post master) who told that get a tape and I will give you the paper with 15 mins extension (it was 1.06pm then). I somehow got a tape from the security guy, that male employee gave me three sheets I wrote the address and pasted the sheets as neatly as I could. The lady was getting restless which makes sense, but now the amount billed was way more than expected and I did not have enough cash so the Post officer was like we deal only with cash, go to the ATM in next block and get it. I went there, got cash and then my job was done at around 1.45 pm. I was there for 45 mins beyond closing time which was a surprise for me, I had already made up my mind that my cartoons will not be mailed today but am glad that with lot of hiccups I was finally able to book those. I am thankful to all employees of that post office who were patient, understanding and helpful including the security guy who provided me with a tape.

The post office at South City 2 Server is down for last six days. So no work is being entertained. Poor customer will be penalised for last submission of funds in RD a/c.

I heard a lot of missing parcel comments all across the web by many users although I was assisted by beeku kumar and other staff who were very much helpfull and very already working when I entered despite the strike that was going on. Excellent people Thanks ❤
