And rates are very High
It's better to book an Ola or uber .
Comparatively ola Uber fares are lesser than the prepaid taxi.

I gave them 530 rs and and the fare was 280. They returned 150 and when I asked they returned 100 more. It happened with me several times. They do it intensionally. Be aware guys..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much crowd and queue for prepaid taxi...Ambassador cars are mostly there which i seen a most ...counter is 24*7 opened...This is most trusted way and oldest way which Government following ...Very good use if peoples mind is accepting And go for it..if they comparing ola and uber or other taxi services ..old is gold i can say

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is conveniently located exactly in front of Arrival Gate 1A on pillar 18. You cannot choose your ride but that's ok, because mostly HM Ambassador taxis are offered. Beware of extracting the change (money) as they do confuse (trap) you with words.
I am rating this ??? for their lack of embracing technology. This is cash only ?- debit/credit cards and UPI modes are not accepted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good initiative by the local police to provide prepaid taxis, especially because Uber/Ola prices right now are ridiculous. However, the line can get very long and it took almost an hour for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Pre Paid Taxi is a boon for travellers and the bad observations are as follows :-
A) There is a delay in providing the change to the customers, and this leads to customer leaving the counter without taking the change. In case you come back .... you will never get back your money - Dirty Guys ....
B) If your slip is say Rs 566.82, they will ask for Rs. 570.00 .... The Rs 3 goes into the pocket of the counter personnel. Ask them for the change, they will ask for Rs. 7 in change, only on query.
C) Most of the time the guys in the counter will slow the process of issuing the taxi reservation slips....The reason is to create a situation of urgency, wherein a traveller generally forgets to collect the change and the guys at the counter enjoy the moolah.
D) The prevailing system needs an audit and cashless payments should be encouraged or app based payments.
