This school is also called Janki Devi because its morning shift is only dedicated for girls Students and on other hand its Evening shift is dedicated to all boys Students which is called Premchand Rajkiya Vidyalaya. The school can be easily distinguishable from main road in any usual traffic. But this school need upgradation into its Infrastructure like Smart Classes, well maintained practical laboratories, good canteen, and well maintained toilet etc. Otherwise the school is good and also located at good area.

Dr. Virendra Singh one of the best principal od this school.
All the faculty are very good and helpful to student.
It is located at Mayur Vihar is a residential area in East Delhiclose to the Noida-Delhi border, situated just across the Yamuna River, and is divided into three distinct phases. As the name suggests, it may have been the dwelling (vihar) of the peacock (mayur). This residential area came into existence in 1979-80, back when the trans-Yamuna area, part of today's East Delhiwas sparsely populated. The government decided to sell the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) flats to employees of Public Sector Units (PSU's) and semi-PSU's like the BHEL, among others. This was also an experiment to integrate people belonging to various economic bracket's i.e. High Income Group (HIG's), Middle Income Group (MIG's) and Low Income Group (LIG's) in one community. The residential units in Mayur Vihar are a relatively recent phenomenon and were developed in three phases. It is well connected by high-frequency buses and is serviced by the Blue Line (Delhi Metro).
