★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place to relax near Ganga in evening...This place has lot of seating area and shops selling snacks, tea and all. The view of cable bridge from here is awesome though ghat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Princep Ghat is one of the most romantic places in Kolkata. It is a perfect place to meet up with friends, a great hangout place where you can gossip and chat over phuchkas and bhelpuris, a good place for catching up with your old friends. Located along the banks of the beautiful Hooghly River, the memorial was built in the memory of James Prinsep. The Vidyasagar Setu above it adds to its charm all the more.
It's good place for photography for prewedding and other occasions.
**It's free of cost to visit this place.
*People can reach their by Train, Bus, Cabs, metro (nearest metro station is Esplanade and from there take bus to 'Princep Ghat' ).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the iconic places of kolkata offering the mesmerizing view of the river.. It's a quite popular place for couples. One can enjoy the beautiful sunset while having some 'ghoti -gorom' . Boat rides are also available there. Good place for photography.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week I visited Princep Ghat and had an awesome experience. This was my first time there and I really enjoyed my time there. There is literally so much to see and enjoy. The place is extremely photogenic say for pre wedding shoots, dance shoots, or any photo/video shoot. It's absolutely free of cost and the area is vast. The breeze from the Hooghly river is soo soothing and mesmerizing. There are places to sit, gossip and eat. There are benches like in parks and there is a Princep Ghat station too over there and train lines are there where you can click pics in absence of the train?.
There is a monument inside it's closed for now ,but you can click pics outside it. The experience is great. Clicked a lot of photos

You can get ghoti gorom, papdi chaat, bhelpuri, ice cream here at normal prices. There is nimbu Pani, jaljeera Pani and lassi outside.you can get cold/normal temperature water as well. There are ballons, toys for kids and things you can gift your loved ones in memory.
You can avail boat rides over there and the rate depends. It's not per head but the boat as a whole. The rate in the morning is less but in evening the rate is a lot more bcz it's more beautiful and more serene.
Couples are everywhere and even if you see somewhere anything off don't mind?
Great place. It's the pride of Kolkata and make sure to visit this place atleast once whether to come to Kolkata for trip or you reside here

Very beautiful place. Peaceful. Superb walkway under the trees beside the river with a mesmerizing view.
Boatride : One boat per family, 400 rupees for 30 mins and 800 rupees for an hour.

The view of cable bridge from here is awesome though ghat was closed and was dirty.
The road track along side ganga is beautiful and full of greenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place with a view under the bridge. One can start walking from one end to other. We tried the boat ride paid 300 rs for 30 minutes which had to be negotiated. Place has lot of seating area and shops selling snacks, tea and all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ghat is quite mesmerizing at night. Couples used to come here and have their time spent with their love ones. You can also have quite interesting foodie stalls near the ghat too. Boat /ferry ride is amazing part at the evening time. In valentine days, couples decorate the ferry like a bride. It's amazing to see such a scenic beauty in our country.
