★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely picnic spot. Amazing place to spend time with friends and family. The views of the river and bridge is amazing, so is the sunset. Food stalls are lined up in plenty and the greenery is amazing. Ample place to sit at various intervals. Water is not clean enough that one can go inside but can surely opt for boating. Here there a train station is also there.

There is bike parking fee .. and there is lots of food sta and you can enjoy the food to see the view .. specially I enjoy the evening view of the second Hooghly bridge .. There is James princep building .. I love to hang out there . Also there is a boat facility .. you can enjoy the evening on the Ganges ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pretty cool place to hangout with friends, with family or with your partner. It's a perfect destination for evenings. I have been to Kolkata many times and every time I get to know a new face of the city. Limited-time can't define the beauty of the city. I like this place especially during the sunset when the natural light amalgamates with man made light sources.

Boatride : One boat per family, 400 rupees for 30 mins and 800 rupees for an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a place built on the banks of river hoogli ,with very fine park and with boating facility .there is a monument ,in memory of James Princep.A very nice evening recreational place. There are food kiosks .Sunset is very beautiful
