★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place in the centre of the city known for its beauty and elegant built during British rule. Had lot of space for walking and garden around the central memorial. Around the memorial, there are small ponds to hold water during rainy season. Tata building near the Victoria Memorial is reflected in the pond's water. Finally, enjoyed a lot. Never miss this place when you do to kolkata. Go during rainy season to get a great view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely park for relaxations. People come here for fun. Here you can see lots of flowers, green. You can also get lovely decorative sitting benches here. Well cement built pavements are here for walking, running, jogging. Entry in this park is free of cost. You can get pay and use toilet here thouyit is free but the watchman demands money for using. This park is also opened for children. In front of the park, you can get street foods.

The symbolic hand held dove at the doorway can't be neglected as one approaches the park. Mornings are full of people doing their own element within the form of exercise. ..on foot , jogging ,yoga or simply sitting round soaking inside the beauty of the luxurious greenery and the brilliantly hued flora.The park even has a fruit orchard with pomegranate, chikoo ,mango,lemon, guava ,wax apple and other fruit bearing timber. perfectly maintained with garden benches , lavatories and dustbins. And not to forget the ones the ones lovely message bearing placards mixing well with the surroundings.
