★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located to the east of the Victoria Memorial and at the southern edge of the maidan. it is the first Episcopalian church in Asia....
It looks most beautiful during the Christmas holidays, when the cathedral, the garden around it as well as the surrounding streets are all bathed in light and festivities.
must-visit for enriching historical and architectural pleasure....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest cathedral of Kolkata, this was built in a beautiful Gothic architecture in 1847. This was built on a large premises to replace to he iconic St. John's Church. The cathedral was built in Gothic revival style, but with modern construction elements, including an iron framework. It was built with a chancel, a sanctuary, chapels and a 201 feet tall spire; the cost of construction of the edifice was then Rs. 4,35,669. The cathedral can accommodate 800 to 1,000 people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place needs no introduction to the residents of the City of Joy! Built more than a century ago, the Gothic architecture is bound to capture your attention.
The ground on the rear side of the cathedral provides a serene place to sit an appreciate the sanctity of the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being there for the very first time, it felt very soothing, the ambience inside and outside is way too pleasing...
It has the power to takes all your sadness.
Apart from all this, the architecture is an eye catching master piece. All the sculptures and geometry used are too evenly done.
The marble, glass and wooden works are at its most.
Walking out the Church, the surroundings are cool and well maintained. At the back, you could just enjoy the eve with your loved ones and can end up your day in the best way.
Lastly, entry fee 10 INR / 0.13 $

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For starters, it’s a place for worship and it should be respected as such. Like any religious place, the universal decorum is expected.
Pointers:
1) It’s right next to Birla Planetarium.
2) As far as I remember, the entry ticket is 20₹ per head.
3) Renovations are ongoing so expect out of bounds places.
4) There is a nice lady who has a small kiosk at the exit of cathedral. You can get coffee or tea there.
5) It’s a place for reflection. Reflect more than taking pictures.
Enjoy. Peace Out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a good experience visiting St Paul cathedral with my family. The place maintains the sanctity of the cathedral at the same time open for Everyone to come and witness the beautiful building structures and the architecture. Outside the church there is small stall where you can buy some souvenirs and take. There is also small children park and a place to burn candles and offer prayers. Entrance fee was only 10rs per person which I feel was good because it's a place of worship. Overall my experience 9/10.
