This bungalow is one amongstthe 3oldest buildings of its kind at the Barrackpore Park The other tow are Bungalow#1and Bungalow #3or the Honeymoon Lodge.
These terraced-roofed bungalow were built in 1864 by Lord Elgin after the twe thatched bungalows located near the Government House were pulled down.
