★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PUNCOFED is the training and publicity wing of the Cooperative Movement in the State. A cooperative society is an economic enterprise managed and run by its members. They are generally unaware of the intricacies of management and accounting. So their training and education have been there in the Cooperative Principles since inception of the Movement. The cooperative societies, at all level, are democratically managed. There is no educational qualification to get elected to the committee of a society. So it is essential to equip them with necessary knowledge about managing a cooperative economic enterprise. All this responsiblity has been assigned to PUNCOFED.
