R	R SHARMA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its very congested no proper space for car parking and drop in have long que , but facilitues are improoving , seems new escalators which is working . A tea shop in food plaza is really lovely for fresh tea made by milk and taste is goos. There is some new stalls or shops for fresh brakefast or tea n coffee which is also very good. Quality of food is just ok but it seems hot n fresh. Footover bridge is good and new There is intrastae bus stand near by with the name of pune station st stand and pune local buses operate from outside and there is proper local bus stand. Swargate st stand is just 5-6 kms away from there
S	Shankar Dagade on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest Railway station in Maharashtra as well as India.. The station opened in 1858, but current building is builted in 1925. Currently the building is decorated and renovated with modern touch with Old soul and beauty.. Area is huge and excelentally managed.. Large parking area, waiting area, Main entrance, back entrance, Reservation Building, food counters, escalators, public toilets and many more... There is total 6 platforms.. But the cleanliness is poor, not because of the cleaning staff, but the nonsense people who splits everywhere even the front of cleaning staff... The remained food, trash, vomiting are spread everywhere on the station.. Peoples are sleeping there at night.. The food court is available 24×7.. There is statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.. as well as a 100 ft. tall Tricolour is just goosebumps you... So, in short Station is world class except some litter outside the station..
S	Sandesh K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pune station is the junction for all the railways in Pune. It is located in centre of Pune so you will always catch a traffic while traveling to it. It has book stalls, food stalls. Bus Stop is at 2 minutes distance. Good facility of Escalator machine. Well maintained even in COVID times.

They Have tried their best to maintain it however the inflow of the crowd is so much that it is tough to maintain. The great aspects are of this station are: 1. Area is full of police officers whom you can reach out to if you get stuck. 2. Separate ticket and reservation counter. 3. Train information is displayed at the entrance and on the bridges. 4. Lots Of options for food and quick bites. Some of the troublesome aspects are: 1. There is just one toilet on the station at the far end of platform one 2. There are just three bridges and hence it becomes very difficult to navigate through the crowd during the peak hours. 3. The enquiry section is useless and the people are really rude there. 4. Many trains (specially the Mumbai ones) slow down when they enter the Pune station and people with unreserved tickets jump into moving trains to catch seats in the general compartments which is very risky. 5. The rikshaw outside the station are prepaid ones and they charge exorbitant rates. Would be great to see them operate on metre. It is difficult to get ola/Uber here.
