★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the busiest parts of town Kharagpur. There's concrete divider on the road. Almost all buses stop here. There are Waiting Rooms for passengers on either side of the road but they are hardly visible and very badly maintained. Number of small shops are there on both sides. Within walking distance, towards south there's a SITALA MANDIR, SITALA MISTANNA BHANDAR AND SITALA TALKIES (Cinema Hall). There's also a large vegetable market namely MANDAL BAZAR. Road needs congestion free by removing shops specially near traffic. Towards INDA, KHARAGPUR BUS STAND the road passes through a low height Railway Bridge. Very recently Railway department constructed Height guage with iron bars on the road in either side of the bridge. Due to these height guage no high roof bus could pass through the bridge. This is a great problem. All Digha bound super fast buses changed their route Rupnarayanpur by-pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a market place. With food, lodge and sweet and Snax, medical shops available. There is ample transportation available till 7:30 pm. After that Rickshaw and Electric auto available. Good place if you are careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No waiting hall/shed accordingly during rain and summer season public are facing lot of problems. Recently one LATRINE AND URINALS (both for men and women) made providing a great relief to public in case of necessity. Provision of Drinking water should immediately made.
