It was a great experience. If you really know the taste of traditional marathi food, you should visit here.
Service was also good with limited staff.
Just take your family and order randomly. They will serve. I have done the same with 17 foodies with me on dinner recently.
Our focus was on sweets and starters. And it was delicious.
If you have seen other restaurants they will deny you serving ukadi modak, puran poli, gajar halwa on last moment orders.
But Purnabrahma did not disappoint me and serves all in ample quantity.
I was surprised about the knowledge of two Manipuri staff about Marathi food. They were too polite with us. Although chef could be different.

β β β β β Worst experience.There is a saying in marathi that the person who comes hungry to your door..you do not shoo him away. But the staff at this hotel clearly says on your face.....you cannot get food here now. They mention restaurant timings ad open till 11 pm. But there they do not let you enter ..only because it's 9:30 pm and some have already booked the tables...where in fact 3 different tables are unoccupied. Really PATHETIC.

β β β β β We had lunch there when was in Pune...It was very cozy feeling place ....We were 6 people so we chose to sit the traditional way. Then we decided to go for traditional drinks like piyush, kokam, solkadi, buttermilk and some jeera drink (sorry I dont remember the name). Then asked for the specials and they recommended us some dishes like 4 platter dish..In that there was kothimbir vadi,sabudana vada, vadachi vadi something..and there is peas kachori....In main course, we had bhakri,ravan pittla(spicy chickpeas curry), maasvadi ...Then we decided to try some sweets like puran poli and kawapoli that were also recommended by the staff....
After having all food ...after some time some of us didn't feel ok...like feeling so much full and uneasy...It was very weird feeling I couldn't able to describe. But that day I was very uncomfortable..I vomited like 2-3 times in night...
That was the very bad experience I had with them.....And I am not only one to feel like that ...we all had bad experience after food ...some of us that night and some of us next day..

But the thing is such a price for Veg is too high,
Also you could cook this at home.
And Thali is Limited, waste of money!
Khava poli was awesome,
Rice was not that good!

β β β β β We have recently been here. All staff members were so welcoming. The thought behind this concept is really appreciable. The food is good but I would like to suggest that please "AVOID MUSTARD OIL" for cooking. It gives very strong smell and also use less oil. We had masala bhaat, but it was too oily.
