Purohit Travels & Cab services - Manali - Manali

Before we visited Manali we searched in internet and Lalit ji was the top rated tourist guide in google. We got into touch with him and got the quotation for our Kullu-Manali tour. He suggested to visit Tirthan Valley along with Manali and planned the entire tour along with room booking (except Manali). Though his quotation was slightly higher than others but we still booked his cab as he sounded reliable to us. He indeed is reliable and safe. We were a very small team, only me, my wife and my little kid. But we never felt unsafe with him. We reached Manali 13 Mar around 6:30 am and he was right there waiting for us. Even he started calling us from 5:30 am to know our location. He is that responsible. He is punctual too. He never got late. He always advised us on what to do and what not. Just one incident I should mention if I am giving an honest review. There was no talk on what type of car he will provide. He provided Alto and we were ok with it as we were a small family. He justified that small car will move fast in narrow roads in the mountains. We were supposed to visit Chehni Kothi. We had a great interest for that place. It was evening time around 5 PM IST and he stopped his car at some point and asked us to trek to the Kothi. He did not told us that it was arounf 3 kMs of walk in the stiff hilly roads. Beside trained mountaineers or locals no one will be able to walk up to such a height during that time. Later we came to know that the road was motorable and we saw tourist cabs were going up through that road. Since sun was about to set and I had little kid so I had to give up walking and came back. When we told him he argued that with Alto it was not possible to ride that road. If he knew that then he should have arranged for some other cab which could have taken us there. How can he asked a family to walk 3 KMs up in the mountain? As he has committed he should have done the necessary arrangements. Moreover he did not accept that it was his miss. He kept on justifying and finally said "will cover this next time without money". This is something no tourist would like since we already paid for this. t is true that we were disappointed with that incident but at the same time it is also true that for him only (since he suggested) we could see Tirthan Valley (Jalory pass, Bada Ghusain, Sainj village, Jibhi etc.) which is the main TRP of our tour. He showed up nicest places and we are grateful to him for that. For one bad incident all those good feelings can not be negated. We had a great stay at the homestay he booked for us at Bada Ghusaini (Camp Himalayan Heritage Saraj). We really liked this place. On the day of our departure our bus was around 2 hours late. He waited for us till 9:15 pm till we boarded the bus. That is his sense of responsibility. I will still prefer Lalit ji for a safe and relaxed tour. He has many qualities to be a no. 1 tourist guide. If he can let go his ego a bit and realizes the tourist's expectations he will very soon become the no. 1 in true sense. All the best Lalit ji.

I hired this taxy service for 3-4 days for manali trip. Lalit sharma, cab driver was good and his behaviour and guidance through out the trip was nice. We travel some other point that was not mentioned in our trip like Bijli Mahadev temple, Jana Waterfall were awesome in reasonable extra payment. Cab was not up to the mark but ignorable. Thanks sharma ji for wonderful trip.

We booked cab for 4 days, one of the best and reasonable taxi service in Manali. He took care of all hotels for staying and these hotels are also good. Lalit ji has good knowledge about all tourist places in Himachal Pradesh

We hired the taxi services from Purohit travels for 3-4 days during our Manali trip. The vehicle provided was a good one and our driver LALIT SHARMA was very helpful and a reliable person. The pricing for our long trip for local visiting points in manali, Hampta pass ,kullu trip and bijli mahadev was reasonable amount..
