β β β β β At the prices you are gonna pay, you would expect better food. They really excel in their non veg items which are quite good. The veg related products like dal, bhaja etc are for the want of a better word, inconsistent.

β β β β β They offer traditional Bengali dishes in traditional vessels but overall taste and food standard is not up to the mark. Price is definitely reasonable.
Typical menu of a Rajbari Thali will have:
Fish Fry - 1 pc
4 Poori and choley ki daal (4 luchi and cholar daal in Bengali)
Sweet rice (misti Pulao)
Begin bhaja (Brinjal Fry) - 1 pc
Malai kofta (2 pc)
Golda Chingri Malaikari (Prawn Malai curry) - 1 pc
Mutton
Bhekti Paturi (Bhetki Fish Dish wrapped with banana leaf)
Chutney, Papad and Sweet (Rasgulla)
Price - 550+
If anybody doesn't prefer to have mutton then you can ask to replace it with Chicken dish or any other fish dish.
In our case, Fish Fry, luchi, cholar daal and Bhekti Paturi was good however rest of the items were so so. From quantity point of view, quantity of a single thali is sufficient enough to fill your stomach unless you have very heavy diet. In any case you have an option to order Ala carte menus :)
Note: Road side car parking in front of restaurant is available.

β β β β β It's decent looking from the outside. Once you enter you get the impression of an old world charm due to the decor and the wall paintings. If you're looking for Bengali cuisine then you can try this place. I guess they are good for marriage bookings, because I had seen buffet styled tables setup. The food is decent quality.

β β β β β The food quality was very average.
The paneer kosta in the thali was frozen and rotten. The curry preparations were very basic. But served very decoratively and photographably.
The chicken served was aweful. Those who ordered it, told it wasn't chicken at all, maybe any other bird. It had a disgusting smell which spoiled their dinner.
Very less staffs, so management is very poor, slow and clumsy. They forget to serve you items.
A 1 time visit experience is enough.
Won't go again. Neither would i recommend it to anybody.

β β β β β I ordered takeaway food from here and for the price charged, there is simply no match. I ordered the Rajbarir thali (2) for my father's birthday and three adults ate the food over three meals. There were 12-13 items including fish, mutton and prawns and portions were very large. The price was only around Rs 550 per plate. However, a word of caution to the management: my parents who've eaten this food earlier said due to puja, quality seems to have fallen sharply.
PS: the picture showing all items includes some home cooked items also.
