★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sri Raghavendra Mutt was consecrated in 1995 after many leaders, devotees put lots of effort for more than seven years. Many rounds of development have happened over the period. The then pontiff of Moola Mantralaya Mutt had sent his personal representative to oversee the construction and establishment of rituals.
Many great pontiffs have blessed this place by their visits.
It's the biggest and most accommodative mutt in the radius of about 7kms. The main dining hall can seat about 150 on the floor, about 120 on the left of the Sanctum Santorum, about 50 in the mini hall behind it. Good kitchen facilities enable even two functions to be done simultaneously. Ideal for engagement, upanayana, chowla, namakarana. Outside catering not allowed.
There are no private rooms in the ground floor.
The first floor has a minihall with rooms and other amenities.
Ideal for one day functions.
Even ceremonies can be performed.
Most auspicious is the annual aaradhane festival which falls on Shravana bahula vidiya upto tritiya. Navaratri, Ramnavami, Nrisimha jayanthi, Hanuma Jayanthi, Gokulashtami are also popular.
