★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well phuchka was crispy. But the masala should be improved a bit from my point of view. There was sweet phuchka and normal phuchka. Dahi phuchka was also nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am here not to review their fuchka but the alurdom they make...it's heavenly with the right amount of spices and with the topping of tamarind water and sweet chutney...a plate of alurdom from their stall will make u visit their stall again and again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was definitely a great place for phuchka and alur dom, but now insensible rise in their price has made them very unpopular.. when alu is Rs 10 per kilo, how can someone charge Rs 90 for one plate of alur dom???? no wonder why their customers r decreasing in numbers.

At Rs. 20/- for 5 Puchka (Very Small & Broken also) , its bit costly but when alu is Rs 15 per kilo, how can someone charge Rs 90/- for one plate of aloor dom???? & When I asked The person to Add Extra Potato SMASH in Puchka. They ignored and obviously did not give it in Puchka. Its so expensive for Students & others. it's so disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is way way more overhyped.I went to have the best (as merchandised but unfortunately which turned out to be the most costly fuchka) in kolkata but encountered zero hospitality as a customer instead.Talking about the taste it varies from 'ekdom jhal/tok na' to 'aro jhal/tok' from individual to individual in case of fuchka but THEY WERE 'GOBSMACKED' WHEN I ASKED THEM TO ADD EXTRA CHILLIES.They rudely ignored and obviously did not give it. As per the hygiene was concerned,the 'aloo' was smashed much before, as a result, it was glutinous and slippery at the time when we were having the fuchkas and we had food poisoning the next day. They claim the 'tentul jhol' is made from mineral water but it's taste was very very bad and almost tasteless.'Dahi fuchka' was absolutely average and i would say overall zero value of our money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with my family to dakshinapan today evening and yes puchka is our favourite..So visited this stall..We were standing in a queue to have the normal panipuri ..They give Rs20 a plate for 5 puchkas,Rs 50 a plate of only 4 dahi puchkas..I had a bitter experience today..Whole we were having puchkas the puchka wala gave only 4 puchkas and told us that 5 puchkas already given and whether we would like to have further or not..This has happened once previously also that they make a mistake in counting the puchkas..Instead of 5 they will give 4 puchkas and say 5 already done..When I pointed out to the puchka seller this time,he became furious and behaved very rudely.Though the taste of puchka was below average,still they charge a little more than the normal rates in other puhka stalls..But such a rude behavior from the seller made me take the decision of not visiting the stall any more..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh boy - what a treat for the fuchka lover! Stellar qualitym albeit a little wait to get a place at the front and get served. Tried the basic (sour) fuchka, the sweet & sour variation, the dahi fuchka, and the aloo dum. All were spectacular, miles ahead of the fancy places that serve fuchkas on a plate, paani in a cup, as a make-your-own.
Take home a slice of the flavor with a to-go container of the aloo dum!
