Used to be a public hearing place (Janata Darbar) and later was used as a Civil Court.
The premises hosts Choupaty/ Khau Gally of the city and is also used to host various public functions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The palace has now been converted to a school. Nothing much to look at except the pics which I have posted. The top floor lies unutilised. The stone structure gives a glimpse of how wonderful and grand the place must have been.
With the Khau galli next to it, one needs to search for a parking space.
