★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purana Qila, Hindustani for Old Fort also formerly called Shergarh & Sher Fort is one of the oldest forts in Delhi, India. The site has been continuously inhabited for 2,500 years and remains dating from the pre-Mauryan period have been found. The present citadel was begun in the time of Humayun and its construction continued under Sher Shah Suri. The site is often identified with the site of Indraprastha, the capital of the kingdoms of the Pandavas from the Mahabharata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is AWESOME cuz it's related to 3rd battle of panipat fought in 1761 amongst Maratha & Ahmad Shah Abdali. But this place need little Maintenance and also little attention of general public ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to hang out with your friends and family as long as it is not summer and as long as there is no sun... Because you are literally going to get roasted otherwise... You wont find much shelters to hide in, not much trees to find a shadow, but for evening and morning time, it is a great place, you can see the actual horizon from this point, and perhaps 10s of kilometres of the surroundings with no obstruction in between...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its just a public park on a mountain. You will see Panipat from mountain, the whole panipat city will be in front of your eyes. But on weekends, its too crowdy and people from nearby areas come here and enjoy here. Kids enjoy the "Jhulle" and male gends play cards in groups for the whole day. The reason of low rating is, this is not a preferred place to bring females as lots of males come there.
