7 floor building at 7th century.
This place at base is so quite and silent that you can sit and meditate.
For me It is like aagan.
Free entry.
And it surrounded by heavy market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this place on 25th December 2021. There was renovation work going on. Only first floor was open for visitors. We took more than hour to explore only that first floor entirely. You need atleast 4-5 hours to enjoy all the areas. All antique items are placed very distinctly and all related information is given there. What I like the most is devalaya of Rajwada palace. Different Shiv lingams, paintings of royal personalities. The art work on wooden piller is astonishing. As we visited this place in evening it was amazingly lit up. One must visit this place to experience the heritage , history of Holkar dynasty. Highly recommended historic place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rajwada palace is good place for those who are interested to visit at historical places.
Before going to visit here, you need to check online, that it is open or not. Maximum persons are not aware that it remains close in weekend and public holidays.
Overall it is good place, can go for historical visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed due to unable to visit Main Building of Holkar Rajwada Palace in Indore. It's going Under Renovation Construction from last some year upto next year time said by security.
Only able to see the Temple, Sadar Darbar & Exhibition of Holkar Family Trust available to visit.
Hope ASI Archeological Servey of India & Madhya Pradesh State Government will complete the Renovation Construction of Holkar Rajwada Palace in Indore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place in Dec'21, and most of the palace including the front facing 7-story building is under renovation. Only one part of the palace which has museum and a temple is open for tourists. You would love to see what in there for us. A must visit place to know more about Holkar dynasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited during early April 2022. This palace was under renovation and most part of was cordoned off. Small section is still accessible. It is advisable to postpone visit till completion of renovation work.
PS : There are no entry fees.
