सतराव्या शतकामध्ये बांधलेले कल्याणच्या पारनाक्यावर स्थित असलेले पोखरण मंदिर हे महाराष्ट्राच्या अध्यात्म परंपरेचे, प्राचीन नागरी आणि स्थापत्यशास्त्राचे एक उत्तम उदाहरण आहे. आज येथे श्रीराम , त्रिविक्रम , गणेश आणि शंकराची मंदिरे पहावयास मिळतात. या परिसरातील पाण्याचा प्रश्न सोडविण्यासाठी सुभेदार रामजी महादेव बिवलकर यांनी १७६५ मध्ये काही किलोमीटर अंतरावरील काळा तलाव येथून खापरीच्या पाईपने पाणी आणून गावातील चार गंजांना जोडले. मंदिराला लागूनच ६०-७० फूट खोलीची , २०,००० चौरस फूटाची पुष्करणी वा पोखरण गंज निर्माण केले. पोखरण गंज हे पाण्याच्या प्रश्नावरील उपायाप्रमाणे अनेक सामाजिक कार्यक्रमासही वापरात असत.

 Pokhran - Shriram Temple
Built in the 17th century, the Pokhran Temple on the Parnaka of Kalyan is a perfect example of Maharashtra's spiritual tradition, ancient civilization and architecture. Today you can see the temples of Shri Ram, Trivikram, Ganesh and Shankara. To solve the water problem in this area, Subhedar Ramji Mahadev Biwalkar brought water from Kala Talao a few kilometers away in 1765 through a khapri pipe and connected it to the four ganjas of the village. Adjacent to the temple, a 60-70 feet deep, 20,000 sq. Pokhran Ganj was also used in many social programs as a solution to the water problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jai shri Ram! This Ram temple is situated near Par naka in Kalyan West. When you enter temple premises on your left you will find a Hanuman temple. It's Dakshinmukhi Hanuman. On your right a beautiful Sabha mandapa of Ram mandir. This structure is built in stone and wood and well maintained. In gabhara there idols of Shri Ram, Laxman and Sita maa. In this chaos of city this place is good source of positive energy and peace of mind.
