★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very calm place with lots of trees around.. But people who are coming there for picnic are spoiling the place. It's a temple complex comprising of 2 to 3 temples, place is also beautiful, on the banks of river Brahmani... Its a main attraction of picnic for people around Dhenkanal and Angul. People prepare food, eat there and then throwing the garbage here and then there spoiling the beauty.. This has to be stopped.. They even cook non vegetarian foods and have alcohol in temple premises, its a bad practice and has to be stopped.

It is a temple of maa Ramchandi, It is a good tourist place , during the winter season the main source of tourist come here to enjoy their life. During the Makara Sankranti here a big festival called Makar Mela, Every year Jan 14, 15, 16, this festival have.
This time also Biswa Santi Mahajangya , kalsa yatra occur, The Brahmani river goes near by this temple, Basic point are during all season tourist come here to enjoying feast ,
Cooking items are available here on reant.
I suggest you come here during October to March.
