Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Indore is a compact but very beautiful centre. Services here are of many dimensions. Apart from a very well equipped physiotherapy centre and a reputed school, the ashram is trying to attract youngsters through its youth forum which honestly puts forth it's efforts to mould the characters of youngsters according to the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and Swamiji. Besides, Indore is gateway for two of the most important and sacred places of India namely Ujjain and Omkareshwar. So n number of monks and devotees frequent this ashram.

The stay at Ramakrishna ashram,Indore,that too during the three days of it's anniversary was really a great experience.Fortunate enough to listen the speeches of learned monks on the murthi thrayam Thakuraharaj,Mahamai and Swamiji Maharaj.I strongly believe that it will certainly help in my spiritual persuit.

In modern times, vitality of Value Education is rigorously felt; especially for children who are exposed to diverse aspects of life through different media’s & internet. To add up challenges of our times are enormous. To get our children ready for these vanities & instigate them with Values, Every Sunday we conduct a weekly session of 2 hours (8.30 to 10.30) for kids aged between 5 to 15. Session generally comprises of various activities as Storytelling, Teaching of Vedic Mantra’s, Devotional Songs, Short Skits, Meditation, Yoga and other activities in accordance to their age. Additionally, we do organize Yearly camp for kids in month of May . Men, men, these are wanted; everything else will be ready, but strong, vigorous, believing young men, sincere to the backbone, are wanted. A hundred such & the world will becomes revolutionized. – Swami Vivekananda. The basis of all systems, social or political, rests upon the goodness of men. No nation is great or good because parliament enacts this or that, but because its men are great & good. Men are more valuable than all the wealth of the world. With these ideas & ideals of Swami Vivekananda & him as an inspiration every Sunday in campus of Ashram we hold a weekly study session of hour & half from 8.30 to 10.00 am, where we try to manifest latent energy of youth & put them in direction of Nation Building & Spiritual Awakening, through various different activities . The ideology of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission consists of the eternal principles of Vedanta as lived and experienced by Sri Ramakrishna and expounded by Swami Vivekananda. This ideology has three characteristics: it is modern in the sense that the ancient principles of Vedanta have been expressed in the modern idiom; it is universal, that is, it is meant for the whole humanity; it is practical in the sense that its principles can be applied in day-to-day life to solve the problems of life. The basic principles of this ideology are given below. One of the important discoveries made in ancient India was that the universe arises from and is sustained by infinite consciousness called Brahman. It has both impersonal and personal aspects. The personal aspect is known by different names, such as God, Ishvar, Jehovah and so on. Realization of this Ultimate Reality is the true goal of life, for that alone can give us everlasting fulfilment and peace.
