One can see the Rameshwar Temple from the Parshuram Temple which provides a splendid view across the western side of Banganga Tank. The temple is situated on the west side of the Tank. The tall white shikhara (temple tower) one can see from the Parashuram Temple belongs to what is labeled the Rameshwar temple, built in 1842. However, this temple is also commonly referred to as the Walkeshwar temple (along with a number of others around the tank).
On top of the temple tower is an idol of Lord Shiva in the Nataraja form. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ancient Shiva temple situated near banganga tank. The top of the temple has a small carving of lord Shiva's Natraj form. The temple has a park beside it from where you can have an amazing view of Arabian sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very calm and old temple located close to Banganga Tank. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and the Shiv Ling looks vibrant. You can make donations through online payment also as there are QR codes put up n on ek the temple pillars. There is no chappal stand outside, you can simply remove outside the gate and enter in. One can chant Rudram or Mahanyasam inside the Sanctum Santorum to feel the vibe of the Shiva in the form of linga. Har Har Mahadev

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is very ancient you can easily get the idea that this is the historical temple built near banganga. Many times this temple is closed i dont have any clear idea about the timing of the temple but i must say when you sit and meditate in the garbh gruh of this temple you can feel the spiritual consciousness in this temple.
