★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good temple at lonar lake. You need to track little to visit the temple so not an option for aged people otherwise very nice historic place. Build in 11th century around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our guide told us that this temple was built during the time of King Chalukya. The temple is built entirely out of rock like many temples around the lake. One peculiarity of this temple is that, you'll find only Ram's idol here without Sita and Lakshman accompanying him. The temple is situated in between trees and is a very calm place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Standing on the edge of the Lonar Lake one cannot believe that such a beautiful Temple will exist on the slope leading to the banks of the Lonar Lake. Just walk out at early morning from your rooms at the MTDC resort, reach the edge of the Lonar Lake and walk down the slope. It is not an easy walk down the slope, only the fittest should try. You will have a feast of a structure in black rock awaiting you. Spend some time here and then walk to the edge of the lake. Walk to the lake only if u r in a big group.
