Ranika Tour & Travel - Manali

We decided to visit Himachal on the last January’ 2020. We were 2 families’, total 7 persons with 3 kids. We made our plan for Kalka, Shimla and Manali from 26th January to 2nd February 2020. We searched for a reliable and trusted travel agent for our total tour arrangement. We found Mr. Rohit Sharma from Ranika Tour & Travels, Manali. He was much cooperative and contacted us for several times to fix our Himachal tour. Actually he did not trust us and failed to arrange our hotels as per our requirements. He might not trust and believe us because we were from Bangladesh. At last we talked with a travel agent Mr. Dilip Giri in Kolkata who was known to us for few years and they talked with Mr. Sharma to arrange our transportation from Shimla to Manali to Chandigarh. We reached at Shimla on 27th January noon by Toy Train. Our terrible dreams were started from this day when we received a phone call from the stupid driver named Mr. Sharma, we were on wheel in the train then. He told us to leave the train at nearest station because he would not go to Shimla Station for pick up us. We did not do that because we did not know him. We contacted with the travel agent and at last the rascal driver Mr. Sharma picked up us from the up hill out of from Shimla Station. It was a hard climbing for our kids. When we meet the stupid driver we understand that he is from Nala Garh, near Chandigarh, he was afraid about Shimla, he did not know Shimla. We were in surprised; he did not know the Shimla City. After 2 hours long drive we reached at our hotel, though our hotel was just behind the Christ Church, in Jakhu road. He did not cooperate us for whole tour, he just tried to short our tour so that he should not drive more to save vehicle fuel. Every time he tried to make us tired to climb the up hill and did not want to drive in hill area. At last we found that his car tyres conditions were not good to drive in hill area. Really he was a disturbing animal for us for whole the trip. We thought he would be a good person in Manali but he did the same. He refused to bring us to Solang Valley though it was in our tour contract. He also refused to contact Mr. Rohit Sharma who hired him for our tour. We personally contacted with Mr. Rohit Sharma and he come after 45 minutes and arranged our Solang tour by another vehicle. We had to pay extra money this tour. We were bound to do it because we did not want to leave snow activities for our kids. Mr. Sharma, the greedy driver, we never seen this type of person before who was not cooperative with foreign tourists. He was a real stupid, rascal and greedy, he stopped in many restaurants just to get a cup of tea or toast free. Mr. Rohit Sharma of Ranika Tour & Travel, seems to be a gentleman. His behave was very gentle and polite, he came to us to receive the payment. It was very strange; there was a hidden deal between the agent Mr. Dilip Giri from Kolkata and Mr. Rohit Sharma. I had paid all commissions to Kolkata Agent properly, but they earned from this deal also. Their act was like a tout and cheater. Every one, who is interesting to visit Shimla and Manali in same tour, should arrange Shimla car with local driver and Manali car with local driver. Every contract should be written and confirmed before starting the tour. We say again, our opinion is Mr. Rohit Sharma from Ranika Tour & Travel is very gentle and polite in his behavior. But it is very hard to believe the middleman because sometimes he may be helpless. The photo with this post is Mr. Sharma, the stupid driver.
