★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are lot of places where one can get south Indian food in Kolkata but this is an authentic South Indian restaurant. Food is great. Don't miss the coffee if you are fan of filter coffee of South India.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The photos show an upmarket place and reviews talk of exceptional food. The place itself is just a step above and udipi tiffin house and the waiters were not very encouraging. Food was good but not really exceptional. Dosa was not crisp, there was no paan and the gulab jamun could have been hotter. Tomato onion uttapam was pretty good.

The best South Indian restaurant in Kolkata.
Just one drawback, the price is on a slightly higher side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic South Indian Restaurant. It is one of our favourite places. Recommend to try some fabulous sides like pav bhaji as well. Only thing we recommend is to make ice cream available which is in the menu but we do not get it anytime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable and well located restro which has good south Indian dishes. The idlys are soft and fresh. Dosa is not quite up to the mark but you can't really expect much better in Kolkata. A lot of the items on their menu are unavailable, so if you're looking for something specific, make sure to check ahead. The ambience inside is decent, with light carnatic music playing.
