★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very beautiful well constructed apartment in this locality (please don't judge by the locality name - Murugeshpalya :D ) and is very very close to Tech Parks, IT Offices and happening places like Indira Nagar, M.G.Road, Koramangala, Marathalli etc.
Good
1. Well constructed - quality 2 BHK apartments with friendly neighbors and locality. Ideal environment for a family - safe, calm , lots of greenery, lots of kids around who spend time and play together. Can't ask for more..
2. Very near to a. IT offices and tech parks b. Good schools c. Awesome restaurants, pubs , movie theaters, shopping malls etc
3. Daily needs - shops esp. groceries, milk, fruits and vegetables are very close by - within 100 meters
4. A real community - People in this apartment/layout mingle with each other very well and also celebrate all major festivals and occasions together despite being busy. and btw - there is a welfare association as well
5. Decent facilities like Elevator, Power backup etc
Bad
1. Approach road is little narrow and vehicles parked towards the sides which poses challenges at times when you are driving.
2. Ola and Uber offices on the wind tunnel road (very good at times since we get cabs easily) create traffic congestion at times
3. No good park / dedicated children play area - nearest one is HAL

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ worst place to stay in Bangalore. There is no society formed and few owners feel that they own the building. As tenant we went through lots of difficulties. As per my experience worst building to stay in Bangalore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion, this would be the last place to stay in Bangalore. The owner aunty from 4th floor controls everything on her wish. Tenants have no power in decision making though they are paying high maintenance.

Stayed here 11+ years, managed the building maintenance activities for almost 4 years.
Overall a great location for me -- Office was close by, easy access to happening places like Koramangala, Indiranagar etc, quiet layout and good space to walk during the evenings. Basic groceries, restaurants, utilities are easily accessible and mostly a short walk away.
No parks within walking distance -- that is probably the only short coming
Good layout association both in SR Layout and NR Layout with cultural activities and celebration of National and State festivals.
Good contact with and support from Local BBMP corporator to help raise issues and get it resolved.
Initially the maintenance costs were low as building is new and after few years, components like lift, motor, generator etc started failing which lead to higher operating costs.
Also there is a difference of opinion about 24hr generator as many people are not at home during the day time and hence they feel it is an expense which they are not willing to bear.
Ofcourse there are ups and downs as in any venture in life. There are fights, disagreements and also friendships that are formed and last a life time. Unfortunately people who stay short time sometimes only get to experience the downs. It might also be due to the miscommunication by owners while renting out the flat where the agreed and established rules are not conveyed.
Personally, some great years spent in Rathna Paradise and had a great time there.
