Extremely indecent staff. The manager seems to be a illiterate who has no manners of talking. They've advertised their resort much so they get good walk-ins but that's made them boisterous and they don't value customers now. The resort was empty so we tried to negotiate, he said kindly leave my resort please. That was in front of my family and it was extremely offensive.

The restaurant was very good, combination of tasty food, good service, cleanliness and good visuals. People are really humble and helpful. Great view of beach and sea makes it more calm and peaceful place to hangout. Moreover it also has huts to stay and swimming pool as attraction. Overall it's a must visit place if you are in the mango city Ratnagiri.

Resort is nice with direct entry to the private beach from the cottage. View of sunrise and sunset in the sea is lovely from the cottage. Services are prompt and courteous. The only problem is that there is no pest control done. There were rats, cockroaches and termites in the cottages. This could be due to lockdown in COVID times and no thorough cleaning now.

Awesome resort.. Had visited with family 7 kids and three couples. The view of the sea is awesome. Best for a rejuvenating stay. The surrounding coconut palms kills the heat. We didnt feel the scorching heat one bit in the resort. The staff was amicable and accomodating. Though there are few issues like not having local cuisine on menu and some maintainance on the cottages which was in progress. All in all will love to visit again..

Great resort steps away from a pristine, clean (compared to most other Indian beaches), long/wide flat beach that is seldom crowded. The resort itself is very green and the cabins are decent sized and generally very well maintained. We did run into some issues with the telephone line and television but outside of them there were no complaints. The service staff are receptive and resourceful. The restaurant had many more hits than mediocres. The indo chinese food was generally to die for. The fresh juices were stellar. Some of the fish and chicken dishes were great as well. Breakfast spread is adequate. The restaurant is set outdoors right next to the pool enabling you to enjoy the meal while swaying to the ocean breeze. The pool is great and will be a hit with kids. Cons - if you aren't planning to cut the cord completely and relax, the unavailability of wifi in the rooms could be a drawback. The reception and restaurant areas do have wifi. Overall, this is a great resort for total relaxation. The flawless January sunsets are a huge plus as well.

*VERY POOR SERVICE* Iam putting up this review so that people should know the real condition before booking their stay here. I was here with my family for two days on 21 and 22 Nov 2020. The only good thing about this resort is it's location and that's it. We were really disappointed to see the room's condition. The room sizes are really small please don't go by the images put up on the website, the room was filled up with a strong damp smell, there was dust and cobwebs in the corners and too many lizards in and around the room. Even the bedsheets were stained. The restaurant service is the worst, the staff is very lethargic and least interested. They took almost 1.5 hrs after placing the order to serve the dinner and 15 more mins to get the bill. The staff really lacks basic hospitality manners, when asked about the delay there was not a single person who even justified the delay. Instead they turned a deaf ear to the complaints. The kettle in room was not working so if you get up early you have to get out of the resort to the city for the morning tea because the restaurant open at 8 AM and there is no one at the reception also. The locks of the room are rusted and are not in proper working condition. The swimming pool is in a very very bad condition, they have not at all maintened the pool, the water has turned greenish and you could literally see frogs and insects swimming inside the pool. I understand that there must be a lack of staff due the prevailing pandemic conditions but what is so disappointing is that they are charging you a hefty amount and the service that they provide in return is not worth the amount that you have paid. I would never revisit this place nor recommend it to anyone.

The resort is really nice a bit traditional - owing to the region. But clean and decent rooms. Restaurant is very close to the beach. I visited during rainy/stormy season in Oct 2020 so could not enjoy much. But I am assume it would be perfect during other seasons. Felt a bit overpriced - at the rates they charge i was expecting better rooms.

Ratnasagar is an amazing beach resort. We had booked the No. 40 Cottage which had its own private and secluded view of the beach. Good room service and professional setup. Also good parking space for the cars. Please check the menu before ordering food and beverages. Some of the items are crazily overpriced. Also the complimentary breakfast is also good. Limited but good items in terms of taste. A must visit if you want a beach vacation.
