one can reach the Rautwadi Waterfall in approximately one hour.
It’s a great place for a one day trip but only during the rainy season. Surrounded by lush green covers, the place offers a picturesque canvas for the eyes.
The water drops for about 100 feet and in the monsoons is a pleasant experience to witness.
For those who are fond of photography,
the fall offers the opportunity to bring out your talent.
Though you may not see too many people around,
there might be some monkeys to give you company.
Enjoy a hot cup of tea,
roasted corns or other edibles at the small restaurants nearby.
Most of these operate only during the tourist season.
Also, enjoy the thrill of standing close to the high waterfall and getting drenched.
It's an experience that lasts a lifetime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very peaceful place surrounded by green nature. It's around 15 km from Radhanagar I bus stand. On the way from busstand to fall you can get long distance view of Radhanagari dam. Better to visit in rainy days or 1-2 months after rainy season because water will be less afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our family tour to Malvan, Sindhudurg, on the way to Malvan; we visited ‘Rautwadi Waterfall’. It is located in Olavan of Radhanagari taluka and is around 8 Km away from Radhanagari. This waterfall is easily accessible from main road. This place is surrounded by lush green covers and it offers a picturesque canvas for our eyes. The height of the waterfall is around 100 ft and there is a beautiful walkway to reach to the summit. The surrounding atmosphere was very awesome, when we visited there.
We visited this place in November; however Monsoon will be the best time to visit this place because at that time we can experience Nature's beauty, lush green mountains and big waterfall. And hence it’s a great place for a one day trip but only during the rainy season.
There are many more attractions nearby this place such as Radhanagari backwaters, Dajipur Wildlife Sanctuary, and Radhanagari Dam.
