Beware of Fake Old Coins being Sold here, Great place to get bargain items

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gujri bazaar opens only on Sundays where even a tiniest thing is being sold.
There is a huge free parking lot available and all vendors complete setting up their stalls around 10 AM.
You will feel tempted to buy products after hearing such a low price but be aware, the products are of very cheap quality and might not even work.
This one day market has some of the antiques which are older than even 100 years. Some typewriters, old cameras, gramophone, old irons, door locks, Matkas of copper, steel and yellow colored metal. The place even has stalls where stationary, pipe parts, scrap, household items, electronics, clothes, cosmetics and books are being sold.
Even the mechanical instruments, tyres, and jewellery is available. At the very end of the market there are some stalls which sell humming birds, pigeons, fish and Bakra(goats).
There are some food vendors as well. You can try bhajiya, pakodas, lassi, ice cream and many items at a very cheap price.
There were so many things that I might have missed some of them. In a nutshell, this ONE DAY BAZAAR is something you shouldn't miss! Be it a cafe owner or a student, A mechanic or engineer, a housewife or animal lover, a foodie or a photographer- everyone will get what they want in here.
It's a paradise for a photographer. I recommend you to visit as soon as it opens so that you don't have to tackle a lot of crowd.
You need to be a bargain king and quote the 1/4th price from what the seller tells. There are no guarantee or replacement on any product (avoid buying electronics) however, People seriously willing to buy stuff should visit in evening hours(closing time, around 5:30 PM).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ravivari is organised evey Sunday under Ellis bridge. It's a local Market where you can buy everything from a bolt ? to even electronic items like loud speakers and refrigerator. Here you can second hand items in electronics, books including magazines, gujarati novels and english fiction and non fiction books (condition might not be A one but quality is still good and cheaper price). Have good collection of antiques and brass- copper utensils, prices of some the items may be higher but if you are good bargainer you can get it on reasonable rate. If you don't want to buy anything, then also this market is worth experiencing and exploring atleast once. If you are lucky, you might even encounter the second hand electronic auction. This market starts setting up around 7:30 and goes till noon. Paid parking facility is also available for two wheeler and four wheeler both. Also be aware of pick pocketers though that doesn't happen here a lot but still better to be cautious than to be sorry. And at last ravivari do offer snacks and beverages but I would not prefer having it over there, would recommend to carry water atleast. Have a happy Sunday!!
