★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very informative and insightful sessions. well planned. Lot of hard work put in by resource persons. However for certain topics experts had to rush. Could have scheduled more time for critical topics.
Patience and dedication of experts appreciated as nearly every day we exceeded our time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The course is very informational, very detailed and explained in simple language. However, the course details mentioned 1hour lectures but every lecture extends by 20-30mins which doesn't look professional. The extension of time should have been mentioned in the course details itself or take extra 1hour sessions to cover up. Rest, I am very happy and grateful for this course and the teachers who are putting so much efforts to answer each and every doubt asked during the lecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The course helped me organize my ROL in a systematic format. Identifying the research gaps is the major take away for me. I feel more confident about presenting my proposal now. The sessions by Dr.Surekha were very fast paced. I feel some more time should have been spent in interpreting the data, it would have been more useful.
A 'must to do ' course for researchers, especially those who are in the middle of the research. This helped me in reaching another orbit in my research as this training gave me a lot more clarity about where I had to concentrate more to make my synopsis robust. The one on one , practical sessions were icing on the cake. The thought provoking questions and guidance by Dr. Akancha has improved my ability to look at the cause and effect of a variable or theory from various angles. The final presentation and the feedback session is an experience that is motivating and a chance to improve upon the existing proposal.

Perhaps,the topics for lectures could be further broken down to do justice to all the topics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Any one who is planning to pursue their PhD must take this research course on priority even before they could attend the entrance examination for PhD or attending an interview for the same. At least during course work research scholars should undergo this course, as concepts are taught from basics. However, felt that few concepts should have been taught in detail or with a classroom activity than pushing everything to the practical session.

For those you are curious to research in your own subject then this course is best at it. It helps you identify, explore and get a clear picture of working on your own research topic. A handful of dedicated staff who carefully handling each student in instilling the confidence and love for research.

Now I am well aware of the procedure of research and all the ethical guidelines. I am also aware of the resources that are needed for the research. The mentors were so helpful and patient to clear all our queries and ready to help us whenever we were struggling. Before, this course I wasn't confident enough about doing research. But now I believe I am. Special thanks for the practical sessions they were extremely helpful and gave me an insight into the depth required in research. I would recommend any keen to do a research to take up this course, whether you study at an undergraduate, master or PhD level. If you plan to write a dissertation or planning to present your study at a conference or planning to get your research published, I would recommend you take this course.
