★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We can also call this crossing as the heart of the city...this crossing is also known as R.B CROSSING.......its remain very very busy and over crowded from 9:00am to 8:00pm (avg.)...
Very difficult and risky for pedestrians to cross the road....
so be careful and keeps eyes on traffic signal while crossing the road....

It connects Chetla to Gariahat on one side and Tollygunge to Hazra on the other. Public transportation is well spread here and you can get buses and taxis almost all times of the day.

It's a very old important crossing connects one side Tollygunge, gariya, Sonarpur other side chetla, new alipore, khidhirpur and another side covers vast area of eastern Bypass, airport & others and one side covers Central Kolkata north Calcutta and beyond. It's a moderately clean spacious crossing but can be developed further.
