★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely church - well worth a visit. Well maintained. Some lovely features inside, amongst which is a 17th century altar. It is clear that a visit is really appreciated. Complete with a French cemetery. Built in 1691. Designed by Jacques Duchatz, a French architect.

Amongst the remarkable people buried there, one can find the tomb of Duplessis, the founding father of French Chandannagar and also the one of pioneering meteorologist Henry "Storm" Piddington, who is mentioned in Amitav Ghosh's novel The Hungry Tide.
